I:          Door weight (Kg) x 9.8 (Converting from Kg ~ Newtons *NOTE: 1kg is equal to approx. 9.8N) = ###

II:         x Half-depth of the door height (mm) = Fig. 1

III:        / (divided by:)

IIIV:     Horizontal distance from moveable pivot point to the hinge center (mm) / (divided by:) The number of struts desired for the build design = Fig. 2   (*NOTE: Fig. 1 / Fig. 2 = ###)

V:         + 15% safety buffer = Newton Force (N) required *per strut being used.
