What The F-Series™?

Selectlok Australia has taken a bold step forward in enclosure hardware innovation with the development of the FSDT™ Range (F-Series™ Symmetrical Door Design) — a system built around modularity, symmetry, and future-ready design.

At the heart of this evolution is the Symmetrical F Cutout: a new standard that delivers all the design flexibility of IND-C Series handles, with the added advantage of adapting existing or alternate handle stock. It’s been engineered to support our advanced FSDT™ product range.

More than just a new swing handle cutout, the F-Series™ Symmetrical Door Technology platform is designed to inspire a new generation of hardware built to enable true biaxial symmetry in enclosure designs. This system allows enclosures to be configured with mirrored left-hand and right-hand door layouts — without requiring different handle types, hinge positions, or mounting orientations. It’s a smarter, more unified approach that reduces design complexity, simplifies stock management, and accelerates both assembly and retrofitting.

Whether you’re starting from scratch or upgrading an existing design, FSDT™ provides the flexibility to standardise across builds — while staying responsive to evolving enclosure applications and compliance requirements.

Designed for Versatility: S Cutout AND F Cutout Compatible

Whether you're working with legacy enclosures or modern symmetrical frame designs, the FSDT™ adapts seamlessly. With the addition of Selectlok’s patented F Cutout Adapter Plate, any Millennium®, Eselon®, or Eselon+® Series swing handle can be easily converted from the Traditional S Cutout Profile (Selectlok®/Selectrix® standard) to fit the new Symmetrical F Cutout Profile.

Once installed, the combination of the F Cutout Adapter Plate + Millennium®/Eselon®/Eselon+® Swing Handles + F Cutout Door Profile enables 180° rotational symmetry, making the same handle suitable for both left-hand and right-hand door orientations — no redesigns, no complications, just smart reversible installation.

Remarks

• *Patent applied for.
• The traditional S Cutout door profile was initially a patented Selectlok/Selectrix original design. It has since gone on to become the standard industry cutout template.
• Recommended Pairing: For best results, we recommend Selectlok's PI5346-MB-6-2-S FSDT™ Corner Hinges with handles featuring either a dedicated F-Series™ profile design, or the use of an F Cutout Adapter Plate in biaxial symmetrical builds.
• Pad-Lockable Handle Compatibility: Some Millennium® and Eselon® pad-lockable swing handles do not use the standard S Cutout template (22.5 mm dia. + 50 × 25 mm). These models use a single-bolt lower mounting format (22.5 mm and 9 mm dia.) For these, use the P1117 Padlock Accessory Plate with the F Cutout Adapter Plate to enable compatibility.
